The Marriage Tree - The Marula

A once-in-a-lifetime setting. We have a stunning space beneath our Marula tree for wedding ceremonies that we fondly refer to as taking place in the “bush chapel”. A whole range of beliefs has developed around the Marula Tree over the centuries.  It is known to the Zulu tribe as the “marriage tree” because it symbolizes fertility and is used in a cleansing ceremony before a traditional marriage takes place.
